Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences

The Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology | Lund University

HOMEcoming weekend 20-21 october 2017

Welcome HOME to the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences!

In connection to the homecoming weekend at Lund University we invite you, an alumni from the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences, to participate in our program with the theme HOME.

The HOME activities offer an opportunity for you to meet old student colleagues, make new contacts and be inspired by current research. We are also curious about where our former students live and work now, how you use your skills in your working life and if you are interested in collaborating with the department in the future.

Friday October 20:
- Open house. Visit the department’s new premises at LUX, greet your teachers, attend a lecture, etc.

Saturday October 21:
- Researchers present current research on the topic HOME. We aim to show case research and education relevant to alumni:

  • 11.00 Welcome Home – inauguration of the alumnmeeting
  • 11.15 Philip Warkander: Fashion and identity – Using Clothes to Build a Home (in English)
  • 11.45 Peter Bengtsen: A Place to Call Home (in English)
