In the seminar, Naoko will present a part of the chapter drafts on the ongoing project titled Soundscapes of K-pop: A Study of K-pop fanchants, which researches a sonorous form of K-pop fandom practice. The text includes the report from fieldwork conducted in Denmark, Germany, and Spain and methodological reflections, including further plans for the upcoming fieldwork in Korea and Japan.
