Sara Mörtsell, Högskolan i Gävle

A presentation of a postdoc project about (dis)connecting practices in the automated school, understood as the ambivalent tension of putting away digital habits and routines (un)temporarily or (un)voluntarily. With this focus, the aim is to explore how living with digital data, algorithms, and everyday technology matters for the wider school system and how digital vulnerabilities become manifested and challenged in those practices. 

Sara Mörtsell will join the Division of ALM, Digital Cultures and Publishing Studies as a postdoctoral researcher on September 1. She is funded by the DigVul project (Swedish Research Council).
