As professor of history of ideas and sciences, I mainly teach on advanced levels. In addition, I pursue research on the founding of different organizations over the past three to four centuries for transfer of knowledge and research result to users.

I got my Ph.D in History of Technology at the Royal Inst. of Technology in Stockholm 1997. After research visits and post.docs at Univ. of Manchester, Univ. of Linköping, Univ. of California, Berkeley and Univ. of Stockholm, I was appointed Dr. habil. (Docent) in 2002. In 2005, I was appointed lecturer of Innovation Management at Mälardalen Univ. and in 2007 professor of History of Science and Technology at the Royal Inst. of Technology in Stockholm. I have also worked as Head of Division at the State Department of Education and Research and as a writer for a reality show broadcast on Swedish public-service TV. Between 2004 and 2010, I was on the board of the Knowledge Foundation.
