Research Seminar for Mediated Culture and Information
At the Seminar in Mediated Culture and Information are research discussed that is permeated by a critical analysis of the digitization of culture and society. This includes research themes such as cultural heritage institutions, information infrastructure, cultural policy, consumption and digital everyday life, changing literacies, material culture, biohacking, aesthetic and artistic forms of expression. These themes are explored, for example, through ethnography, digital, visual as well as more explorative methods. The Seminar in Mediated Culture and Information is also the central seminar for the PhD programme in Information Studies.
