This course is focused on the cityscape as public space, arena for the movements and practices of the inhabitants. At the core of the course are the expressions of street culture; graffiti, street art and other visual signs in relation to the visual language expressed by the objects and the public space itself. Particular interest is given to the reflection, reshaping and transgression by individuals of the manifestations of power expressing societal regulation, and the ensuing contribution to the multiplicity and flexibility of the cityscape and the public space.
