I´m Professor of Ethnology at Lund University since 2001, now emerita. My research deals with gender-based violence, in history an in the present. Most recently, a project on Youth and sexual violence, where I am responsable for the chapters on femal genital mutilation (FGM),
I have over a ten years period trained senior researcher and teachers in gender-integrated academic leadership - the AKKA programmes.Additionally I have designed and co-conducted a gender-integrated mentoring programme för post docs - Mentoring for change.
