I am a teacher and researcher in Information Studies.
My research interests primarely concerns the public library's educational and democratic role in a digital and socially sustainable society. In my dissertation, I studied the public libraries' mandate to improve digital inclusion and media- and information literacy. I am interested in how digital inclusion and media- and information literacy relates to perceptions of citizenship and societal participation and how this is reflected in the public libraries' practices.
I a teach on the Bachelor Programme in Digital Cultures and the Master' s Programme in ALM.
