Grace Sandblom, Philip Sandbloms widow, created a special foundation in 2003 for a yearly manifestation on Philip Sandblom's birthday 29 October. The theme should be "humanities and medicine" at the Faculty of Medicine. We at Birgit Rausing Centre for Medical Humanities are honoured to be a part of this yearly celebration.
