Distansutbildning ger mer frihet och flexibilitet än campusförlagd utbildning. Kanske behöver du bo kvar där du bor nu och arbeta samtidigt som du studerar? Under våren 2021 erbjuder vi flera kortare kurser (7,5 hp) på distans. Vi har kurser både på svenska och på engelska.

Bokhistoria: Den handtryckta boken
På kursen får du lära dig om den grafiska kommunikationens villkor, medier och dokument, från tryckkonstens introduktion till omkring år 1800.
Digitala kulturer: Teorier – Introduktion
Du fördjupar dig i aktuella strömningar och tankespår inom fältet digitala kulturer och genomgående förankras kursens teoretiska innehåll i dina egna erfarenheter och vardagsliv.
Modernism and Postmodernism in the History of Ideas of the Twentieth Century
The course views modernism and postmodernism primarily as modes of thinking that affirm the power of human beings to create, improve and remake their environment with the aid of scientific knowledge, technology and art and thus reshape the world. These modes of thinking and the ideas that constitute them are presented in a historical context.
Intermedia Studies: The Aesthetics of Popular Culture
The course deals with various expressions of popular culture within a 20th century arts and media context. Main focus will be on contemporary western culture, the latter years of the 20th century and the expressions of postmodern culture. We will discuss advertising, television, music videos, movies, literature, music etc.
Intermedia studies: The Aesthetics of Popular Live Culture
This course deals with popular culture as an aesthetic and cultural-historical phenomenon. The course will take a specific aspect of popular culture focusing on what it means to experience it in different live events, such as concerts, sport events, stand-up comedy, festivals, and activities related to the experience industry, and everyday life culture phenomena.
Bokhistoria: Det industriella trycket
På kursen studerar du såväl tryckta som digitala böcker, tidningar och bilder, samt deras framställning, teknik, ekonomi och estetik. Du får lära dig om hur de grafiska mediernas produktion, distribution och konsumtion har förändrats under de senaste tvåhundra årens moderniseringsprocess.
Samhälle, risk och hälsa
Kursen riktar sig till dig som är intresserad av tvärvetenskapliga perspektiv på hälsa och till dig som i en framtida yrke kommer att verka inom hälsofältet, såsom inom vård och omsorg.
Framtidens idéhistoria: Förväntningar, utopier och dystopier i historisk belysning
Vart är mänskligheten på väg? I kursen får du analysera idéer från antiken och framåt om hur framtiden kommer att gestalta sig. Vetenskapliga och religiösa anspråk på kunskap om framtiden samt olika politiska, tekniska och populärkulturella visioner diskuteras.
Intermedia Studies: The Aesthetics of the Total Work of Art
The course covers both the historically specific concept of The Total Work of Art (Gesamtkunstwerk), with Richard Wagner's opera aesthetics in focus, as well as other forms of compound medial artistic expressions of our times such as film, music videos, and architecture.
